Wildlands Conservancy For the Birds

Learn about the birds you can find at Wind Wolves Preserve and your own backyard in this FREE, two-day event. There will be educational booths and staff-led programming to learn about the birds of Wind Wolves Preserve and how you can get involved in local community science projects like the Great Backyard Bird Count! All ages welcome. No reservations required.

Location: Crossing Campground (grassy area near the main restroom)

The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC) is dedicated to preserving the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and to providing programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature. Wind Wolves Preserve is one of 25 preserves owned and stewarded by The Wildlands Conservancy, which collectively make-up the largest nonprofit nature preserve system on the West Coast. Encompassing more than 209,000 acres of diverse and remarkable landscapes, these preserves are open to the public free of charge for passive recreation and outdoor education.
